July 2025 After a year, we returned to this place. It felt like coming home. Our hearts were opened again. We've been there for two weeks now and left with a heavy heart. I'm writing this review after about a month, thinking back to that wonderful time we had here again. So, the 10 from last year is still completely accurate. Dear readers of the reviews, it's simply true.

wonderful campsite to stay at also the village of Workum within cycling distance everything is here for your daily needs and with a bit of luck you can see the sun setting in the IJsselmeer

we arrived and the first impression was perfect this camper place has just opened spoke with the owner this morning that was a wonderful meeting and a good conversation about their camper place. Now they are spaciously set up own electricity and water 5 meters away from your camper and the places are made diagonally which is very nice with your camper and a nice side effect is that you also have the sun all day around your camper so worth a 10

good morning or afternoon or evening We arrived here on our way to the sunny south of Italy to stay one night, but what a surprise, so beautiful here, we have booked a few more days also because we like the weather. so, so to speak, everything is so clean here you actually don't want to drive on now that we have enjoyed this camper place, it will be on our list of a good ten so see you next time

After a nice drive through Zeeland we arrived at the location where we will stay for a few days now perfectly received by the owner with a private tour how or what so immediately put you at ease the camper pitches are perfectly spacious and a lot of privacy around you, that's a holiday the sun rises in the front of your camper with beautiful grass in front of the door plumbing is a picture really as it should be he is noted with us as one of the best

This is really great as Camping should be point 1 clean point 2 beautiful places point 3 rest point 4 real Frisian people friendly and very interested so just do go here and you become a different person.

Westkapelle a place with enough space for your camper or caravan that is at this mini campsite, but it is not mini but spacious point 1 sanitary a 10 point 2 it is very spacious in your place where you stand point 3 water flow and waste water drainage at your motorhome and caravan point 4 these young people who run this are very friendly and your holiday starts right away now just do it I experienced it myself worth a big 10

The welcome was perfect Svr worthy camping at the farmer a place of peace, but a big advantage is that you can cycle to the center of Ommen within 15 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants and shops that you also have at home, what more could we want as real Dutch people. Now we will definitely come back to this place ! Ps if you come and call you will get a nice lady on the phone who will speak to you nicely, I know that.

what a beautiful place own place between trees water and electricity at the camper what more could you want nice weather but yes on the island the sun always shines more than on the mainland I should know they have been on holiday in the summer for almost 35 years so a rating of 10 is definitely worth it

what a very friendly place to stand these people are very hospitable and their son has a crand cafe what can that man cook delicious for the ordinary home meal and a hospitable reception what more could a person want see the photos above for the address what you have to do walk the Veldt over the fence to the right keep right and you're there enjoy your meal when you read this gr from a butcher from Amsterdam quality always wins

the place is beautiful every now and then a train but that's not so bad the surrounding villages are perfect for cycling and yes when the sun is there you are wonderfully sheltered around between the greenery in short, living outside is a must

it is coming home to this campsite also very perfect place to use the camper so peace is great here and the view over the farmlands such as Friesland is right
