Arrived in pouring rain. Our campervan (7.40) was too long for a discounted CC pitch. The assigned dark pitch (in the back, under trees, lots of potholes, poor sanitary facilities, €34) was not accepted. The friendly lady at reception was completely understanding. So... service good, campsite... go! Money refunded and on we go!

Great campsite surrounded by nature. Beautifully landscaped with a park-like atmosphere. Delicious food in the small restaurant. Friendly welcome from a Dutch couple. Good opportunities to walk the dog. Good luck!

A simple campsite without any luxury. A friendly welcome. Clean sanitary facilities. There are many mobile homes at the entrance, but there are excellent pitches at the back. Some are quite slanted. Direct access to the beach or coastal path via the rear entrance. Excellent dog walking opportunities.

Neat but lackluster campsite. Everything was neat and clean. We missed the "freedom/happiness" feeling. Priced steeply: 2 nights, 2 people + dog + electricity for €61.50. Good dog walking facilities, within walking distance of the rocky beach.

Due to a road diversion, it's accessible via a route through the village. It's actually unsafe for campers over 7.40 meters due to parked residents' cars. The location is beautiful, but be aware of the steep, unfenced quay. Dogs and small children must be kept on a leash!

A simple campsite within walking distance of the beach. The bathroom facilities are from the last century, yuck! Dogs are not allowed on the beach. Poor dog walking facilities. We paid €48 for 2 nights, including electricity.

Great camper place within walking distance of the beautiful Meppel. But .... with a westerly wind you smell the penetrating air of the cattle feed factory. Not nice!

Great place. We were on the edge with a view of the bay. Direct surroundings lack atmosphere. Village within walking distance. Please note the following: The price of electricity is € 2 per hour! That's bizarre.

Great spot. Nice and quiet. Close to schools. We were on gravel. Be careful of the trees when reversing! We suffered damage from the large protruding branches.

Beautiful new campsite. Nice sanitary facilities and very friendly reception. Just call the mobile number and a nice lady is at the reception in no time. Cycle along the river and have a nice lunch in Mozirje at restaurant Lesnika. Delicious food and friendly service. Recommended!

After a tough ride over the Grossglockner Hochalpenstrasse ended up at this campsite. Large lawn behind the restaurant. Excellent food. After 1 night pay €50 cash.

Last weekend was crazy busy. Playground across the street. One spot without electricity. Good walking and cycling. No toilets. €15

Steep descent with bends. After arrival we left again. Not what we expected.

Please note when registering that you want a place on the camper field at the entrance. We accidentally ended up on the campsite for €85 (2 nights, 2 adults, 1 dog, electricity). Quite steep! Restaurant closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Forest path to Lidl much too steep for a bike. Better on foot.

Nice place to stay. Electricity and toilets. No showers. Tasted and bought delicious white wine. Recommended!

Great place. Space for 3 campers no longer than 7.40. Now accessible via a detour because the main street in the village has been dug up. The restaurant is now only open for groups. Located directly on a cycle path on former train tracks.

First review! The campsite has only been open for a short time and is still undergoing development and maintenance. Beautifully situated on a fast flowing river. Sanitary facilities minimal. New, nice and helpful owner. A bit silly... Upon arrival we were allowed to stand on a large, boggy lawn. Not a good choice! The next day all campers had to be towed away with assistance. So pay attention yourself. Only place the camper on paved areas when it rains!

Nice campsite. Relaxed atmosphere. Sanitary facilities dated but showers fine. Strenuous bike ride to the center with a considerable climb. We spoiled ourselves and took a taxi to Chaves for €10. We got a delicious pizza + salad at the Pizza Hut in the old center. Nice English speaking hospitable lady. Recommended!

Another campsite on a busy road. Well... the new sanitary facilities... Totally unnecessary luxury and not convenient. The entrance looks like the entrance to Euro Disney. Dear campsite owner, first invest in new power boxes and a sewer through which toilet paper can pass. It's disgusting to have such a nasty trash can next to the toilet. A designer toilet of course, haha!

Great place with care. Delicious coffee at the beach entrance. Authentic village with locals on the CP to grill a fish. Quiet at night. No dogs barking.

Wonderful campsite. When entering, drive to the rear on the right. No hedges but spacious pitches under the eucalyptus trees. Within cycling distance to the village and beautiful beach. No mass tourism and high-rise buildings. Top!

Beautiful green campsite with excellent sanitary facilities. Many permanent seasonal pitches. Unfortunately, there is a lot of traffic outside the campsite, so walking or cycling is not really enjoyable. Walking a dog is virtually impossible.

Neat but boring campsite. Straight streets with virtually no greenery. Placing the XL in the back? It looks like a runway at an airport! No outlet for the dog.

Perfect CP. On the right side of the river. Within walking distance of the historic center. Next to a beautiful walking park. Water intake and discharge possible.

Beautiful, well-maintained campsite. Sanitary facilities not heated. Quite a steep climb to the entrance. Nice walk along the river to the town where you can buy delicious mandarins for next to nothing.

Beautiful place with a view of the lake. Sanitary facilities not heated and toilets without seats and outside. Brrr quite chilly! Within walking distance of a number of restaurants. Slept peacefully.

Well located. Nice and quiet. Near the Zuiderzee Museum. Worth to visit. Especially the outdoor area. Please note… only 4 A electricity at the campsite, so a gas refrigerator!

Simple camping. Were on an extra spot for £ 15. No plumbing and electricity. Water on the spot. Walking distance to bus stop to York. Be well informed in York about the time and place of return! It prevents waiting at a bus stop that is no longer used.

Beautifully maintained campsite, neat sanitary facilities. Quietly situated on the edge of a forest. We cycled to the village on Sundays. Busy thoroughfare. Lots of vacancy and rather dingy. Shops closed. We paid £52 for 2 nights.

What a mega campsite. Everything neatly lined up. Completely full. A place for 1 night for € 36 Via beautiful footpath along the sea to Whitby and back by bus. Nice sanitary facilities etc.

Beautiful campsite with brand new sanitary facilities. On arrival no more space available, but on a meadow behind the campsite. Great place without electricity. Furthermore, all facilities of the campsite. Paid £20 for 1 night (cash).

Beautiful campsite, beautifully situated on Loch Leven. Reception friendly and businesslike. No friendly chat or information about the area. Glencoe within walking distance with a small convenience store. Cycling possibility on a former train track. We paid £64 for 2 nights.

Unfortunately we had to drive on. CP can only be reached if you come from a northerly direction. It is prohibited to enter from the south. One-way traffic and turning around is impossible. Shame!

Beautifully landscaped motorhome with electricity. and 1 WC. No shower. Empty place for gray water and chemical toilet. Drinking water available at the site. Friendly reception. Main road next to location. Limited walking / cycling opportunities. Not an option for us along the highway. We paid £20.

Great campsite. Beautifully situated on a former train track that is now a cycling / walking path. Bakewell a nice place for a nice lunch at the Secret Garden Cafe Bistro. We paid £80 (cash) for the campsite for 3 nights.

Warm welcome. Beautiful, small campsite. (£24) We were behind the graveyard wall. Nice and quiet! Environment little to do. Groceries and refueling possible at a large supermarket nearby (Tesco)

Last part of the road full of potholes and bumps. Just drive through and you will be rewarded. Fine for one night. No facilities but free the sound of the sea. Delicious!

Beautiful location. Kiosk was unmanned. ATM out of order. Taking clean water (€ 1) is not possible.

mistake! Review of August 2021 is incorrect. Location is not near Embrun and not on a lake. Campsite is opposite Ile Madam on the Atlantic coast. Nice location and delicious oyster food in the immediate vicinity.

We were here July 11, 2022. Nice little campsite but ... has unfortunately stopped. Fortunately, we were allowed to stay one night on the site. So ... delete the address from the file and drive on!

Simple but pleasant campsite. Nicely situated on the river. Very friendly and helpful owners. Small restaurant where you can eat delicious mussels. Fine for a few days.

Heavily outdated sanitary. Low toilets without glasses. Not heated. Paintless and desolate. Bah!

Beautiful location on the river Lech with views of the mountains. Many hiking opportunities. No stores in the immediate vicinity. Sanitary in 2 containers because of new construction. Showering in a cramped cabin with curtain. Too few facilities
