Parking is €6.00 until midnight. You then pay another €6.00 from midnight to midnight. Since almost everyone parks there to cross the ferry the next morning, the parking fee actually comes to €12.00 for an overnight stay. We find this rather expensive for just parking without any facilities at a harbor.

Today on 22-05-2025 we are parked with the camper with the rear wheels in the grass. At 16:09 a person in a uniform from a security guard comes to tell us that the camper must be parked with all wheels on the crushed stone pavement. That there is much less space for people who go to the beach by car is not a problem, according to the guard. Furthermore, it is pleasant to stay here.

Neatly maintained and asphalted motorhome. In the high season, many people come here, especially when the weather is nice. If you come to Sweden on holiday as a guest, you have to accept that the Swedes will also come here. We met here, among other things, a sour German with a very large camper, who complained about everything, especially about the Swedes. Advice: just stay at home!

Sanitary station closed. On the other side of the river, on the east side and visible from the new bridge, a newly equipped area with picnic areas and a toilet block. Here is an installation where you can empty and clean the toilet tank of various types for FREE. This works great. I tried to get things changed, but the moderator rejected it. Unfortunately…..

Beautiful place on the lake. As mentioned by others you have to drive a little further north to the parking lot with trash can and toa. Drive backwards over the entire P. There is space outside the asphalted area for about 15 campers. It is also possible to make a fire here. Road noise is minimal here.

Great place to unload and for free too! Gray water does not have to be drained into the tank with a bucket. A special well is available for this purpose, approximately 20 meters away from the building. This pit is marked with a yellow plastic stick. See picture!

Parking lot next to the road, which is well maintained and clean. Dry toilet and waste bin available. Beautiful view of the Varangerfjord. Little traffic.

Today we were lucky with the weather. Crystal clear and a razor-sharp horizon. Wonderful place for walks and bird watching. Unfortunately the lighthouse and everything around it was closed. It was busier than we expected. Everything was occupied by evening, but we could have secured a seat on the third P.

Quiet place with great view. There is some sand over a length of about 3 meters, but that was no problem today, despite the fact that the camper is 4.5 tons.

Work on the pontoon has now stopped. Beautiful place for about 15 campers. Beautiful walks possible. Small beach nearby.

The path to the tip of the peninsula is closed with a mountain of stones. We are now with the camper on a flat stretch of water near the road. Place for about 15 campers. The Norwegians are also here with the caravan for fishing. No facilities but a beautiful place, close to the Tirpitz museum.

Quiet motorhome site overlooking the river. We are now here with 3 campers and there is plenty of room. There are a number of fishing boats on the side. In the evening the locals come for lax fishing (salmon). No amenities, but a good place for when you're passing through. Between 22.00 and 06.00 especially for caravans and motorhomes (according to the sign).

At this location it is no longer allowed to spend the night in the camper, not even in a tent. E.e.a. clearly marked with signs. Unfortunately…. We were forced to drive further. A little further on is a simple and quiet campsite that costs 100 crowns per night (no electricity).

We have been here at the end of June. The parking lot was not very busy, but with our camper of less than 8 meters it did not go well to park and leave enough space for the passage of passenger cars. We alternatively stayed overnight at the super big P at the back of Fjällräven outlet not far from here. No facilities, but OK for an overnight stay.

Entirely newly constructed parking space next to the old one, especially for campers. Approx. 15 - 20 places. Overnight stay is allowed, no electricity, water and drainage. The outdoor sports shop has been renovated and is much larger than before.

Upon arrival there appears to be a sign with the indication “camping prohibited”. So we drove on with the camper. It's a nice place, but not worth the risk of a fine.

This is a nice spot just 100 meters from a busy road (26). We have an 8 meter motorhome and we didn't even try to get to the lake because of many trees close to the path. Sorry, but it's no different.

The price per 24 hours is without el 190 crowns and with el 220. You can make the choice in the parking machine.

On arrival at about 5 pm it was so busy with beach visitors and parked cars that we couldn't even get close to it with the camper. They are also building a large hotel there, so quite a bit of land was cordoned off. Not recommended!

Parking is only allowed at this location for a maximum period of 8 hours. There is a sign to indicate this. Overnight stays are not allowed.
