Well placed just 5 minutes off the A75. Very helpful and friendly owners. No loos or showers but there is electric and fresh water included in £14 price per night. Very safe behind locked gates, the two spaces a little untidy.

Excellent parking spot on the edge of the village, well away from houses. No facilities - there is a community hall with toilet and cafe in village but only during daytime. Stunning island to visit this is only place where you can realistically overnight.

Fabulous camping on the edge of the sea, 5 minutes walk from historic town of Stromness. Good showers / loos, shower cost 20p for 8 minutes. Large spaces, water fill and toilet empty. Need to book on internet in advance to ensure a pitch - pitch number will be sent to you on email when you book.

Great for overnight stop, showers extra charge. Loos very clean, electric hookups and hardstanding. Owner ot so friendly but a good stop for half the prie of some large campsites in the area.

Perfect new camping site. Everything is new and modern. Good big pitcheshardstaading on very white gravel. Easy walk to Broadford i a few minutes via a new footpath so you dont need to walk on the busy road.

See previous reviews, use car-park 100 metres away. Sign is produced by 1 person living behind car-park- not by council. This is beacuse previous motorhome were very noisy, chairs out late night etc. If parking / sleeping and no camping behaviour should be fine to stay for 24 hours to visit. Must do small boat trip to Easdale Island - no cars, lovely place.

Beautiful stretch of beaches with 8 campsites in 1 mile. This was one of cheapest but also had the best beaches. Facilities old but always clean. £1 for shower. Nearest small shop in village approx 2 miles, or Mallaig where ferry leaves for Skye.

We stayed overnight after arriving on ferry from Shetland at 1130pm. A bit noisy but several other vans, convenient and free.

Amazing campsite - 5 star rating. Top facilities, all pitched fully serviced with electric, water and grey waste. Wifi and showers included in price £25. 5 mins from whiskey distillery. Bus runs from campsite to Giants Causeway. We cannot find anything at all to fault.

Brand new site in centre of village. Great hardstandings with electric and water. Wifi included. Small pancake house with coffee on site and childrens play area. Good rate as many site in area much more expensive.

At reception we were given low season (September) price €30, plus €5 for electric plus €2 each for shower. So €39, way to expensive when a perfect campsite 15 km away for €25 all included. We moved on to other site.

Site a little tired and run down, facilities old but functional. Site shows in ACSI discount scheme €19 - they do not offer this rate as they say their electric amp is higher! So €23 in low season. Good views over lake, the restaurant appears to be permanently closed.

this spit is a car park right by sea under lighthouse. signs show camping car permitted but no camping behaviour. The aire is a separate place 200 m back up road on a farm.

Brilliant camperstop. To enter you put your registration into machine and receive a ticket - to leave you type the code on ticket and pay by card - all instructions on machines available in English. 10 minute walk to beach, lovely shops and cafe. Super U is 2 minutes walk. Very peaceful and felt secure.

Height barrier is 2.7 we watched a Rapido enter with cm to spare. Low profile vans will be ok but we are 2.8 so didn't risk. Beautiful place for those that can get under barrier.

We stopped for a few hours only. Very spacious but it's really just a large parking space with 4 electric hook ups. Dunes block any views but beach only 1 minute away.

Great site on outskirts of town. Facilities clean, plenty of hot water in showers. Lovely indoor / heated swimming pool. Excellent reception staff. Its ideally suited for travel further South but worth a longer stay as plenty to see in area.

From outside site doesn't look welcoming, once inside its lovely. Pitches all on grass, firm ground but grass long and very wet when we stayed. Indoor pool and sauna included in ACSI price €19 - you need a lifeguard present, therefore pre-book time for swim. Toilet block brand new refurb. The village is worth a visit, a few shops and picture pretty streets. Good stop off for North / South trips.

Just outside villages of Arnes. Large pitches with 6amp / 10mp electric. One fresh water tap at facilities. Good showers plenty of hot water. Facilities not cleaned daily - shame as all looks well kept and plenty of work on going to improve site. Washing up / laundry area dirty, need a clean but plenty of hot water. Village is worth visit, good supermarket and fabulous bakery, medieval in centre.

Front area of campsite for those with dogs, rear / side are no dogs. Pitches range in size - €19 with ACSI, without ACSI from €28 to €36 in winter low season. No water to pitches, press button taps at end of rows for filling - very slow. No grey water dumps, signs show to take to chemical toilet and dispose of grey water. Toilets / showers - perfect, always clean and plenty of very hot.

Wonderful stopover. Very quiet, very little traffic. quaint village, toilets and shower next to football pitch. Pay at the cafe at the end of sports area. even though sports centre it's very quiet and feels totally secure. Loved it.

Brand new site, first class facilities. Showers / loos always sparkling clean and loads of hot water. Fresh bread to order daily, restaurant on site open in the evening. Wifi at the restaurant only. Miles of good walking directly from the campsite. Pinoso town approx 4 km away with good shops and supermarkets. This is an excellent site that will only get even better with time to establish itself.

From the outside very lovely arrival and reception. Long stay pitches are right next to the beach. Touring pitches are in the middle of th site surrounded by static vans. Toilets and loos looked clean. We didn't like the pitching area so moved on.

We intended to visit, emailed the owner to check if open but never received a reply. Possible it is closed now.

We visited again this year, campsite still excellent. Lots of works taking place to improve further. Pitches have electric, water and waste - for €17. Town with 2 supermarkets 10-15 minutes walk, on the beach several cafes and bars open in winter plus a good bread and cake shop. Lastly, staff are brilliant, cannot do enough to help.

The pitches on top two levels perfect for winter stays, no shade so plenty of sunshine. Toilets and showers cleaned regularly, we had no complaints on facilities. The Via Verde path passes the site, perfect cycling or walking for 30-40km on off road trail. Great stop off heading either way on A23 but worth a stay for a few days as plenty to see and do in area.

Looked a great place to stay, very easy to find on the main road to Peniscola. When we visited there were moho waiting parked on the main road for a space as anyone left. If you can get a space on there would be a great place to stay.

Lovely friendly site, showers and loos cleaned twice a day (showers lovely hot water). Short walk to town or 6km to Peniscola. Restaurant and bar popular with British long stayers. Pitches good size, many with water and sink. Nothing not to like for €16 per night we would use again.

As previous a very large site but separated into several different areas. Pitches in area D are large and plenty of sunshine - other areas have lots of tree cover and shade. Toilets and showers always immaculate - staff always very friendly and helpful. Indoor swimming pool in winter was great, supermarket fully stocked too. Its large site but also brilliantly run and looked after.

Perfect stopover. if you need to fill or empty water it's €3 if not it's free. Very large pitches and very peaceful during the night. Popular place as full even in January.

We stayed overnight December waiting for ferry. Toilets available at terminal during the day - durng the night at the 'Drivers Lounge' across the car-park. No one called to collect any money. Perfect stop waiting for ferry with several other vans.

Here early January, still plenty of moho here. Pitches are big, showers are excellent - very hot and powerful. The walk to town along the promenade is approx 1 mile. Lots of shops and bars - town is lively. Great site for winter stop. €17 for 2 adults including the electric.

Very large aire, over 200 places. High fences around the perimeter but you can walk in through barriers. As with Camping Car Parks aires you need the Etape card to enter and make payment (or you can ring them make a telephone payment and they give a code to enter). For a couple of nights good parking and right on the Velo route for cyclists.

Excellent stopover, very friendly gentleman collected the feee in the evening. We had a quiet and peaceful stop here in early December.

Excellent stopover. Wifi, electric, grey and fresh water and chem loo empty for €9.25. Secure area just a few minutes walk from fantastic Knights Templar village - worth the payment to park and visit village alone - its stunning. For us the only negative on this aire is complete lack of lighting, a sensor light on main barrier if you approach in dark but other than that its pitch dark.

We used as transit heading South, would use again for sure. There is an automatic 'check-in' outside site to be used if reception closed.

Well kept aire for 4 vehicles. Some road noise but it's just minutes walk from the old town. There is fresh water and grey disposal plus you can charge your battery. For a free over night stop we thought it very good.

Easy to access, just buy card at the terminal for €4 then you need to top up to exit. As with other aires in this group all facilities good. Only one complaint for us - aire less than half full but other vans parked next to us - less than 2 metres away, despite two complete rows being empty! Would be better if the aire had marked spaces to stop this.

Quiet stop behind the restaurant. Space for a couple of vans. We used the cafe and they were happy for us to park up for 1 night. Lovely village to visit - if you are spending on drinks or a meal then everyone seems happy for you to stay but not long term.

We tried to use, full - many more than 7 motorhomes, parked on the sides as well at the parking places. Plenty of other places in the area so we went elsewhere. Great location by the dike but too busy.

Good stop near to St. Michels, we rode our bikes right down and across the bridge.Site is clean and tody, very large and flat and not best looking - but perfect for visiting the St. Michels. 4 amp electric included when we stayed €10.75. Very clean loos. Showers were €3 for 4 mins and water is another €3. For one night its a great stopover

Great campsite, on the island with cycle trails in all directions. 5 km from Angers centre. Campsite facilities old but very clean, owners very friendly and helpful. Wifi was included in the per night cost, not charged as per previous review. We paid €16 per night including showers, electric, wifi - great campsite.

Good parking, water fill / empty needed tokens - but many people just emptying toilets without water to rinse, so very smelly. Very busy and popular, some motorhomes were double-parked. We found it very noisy with traffic going to village, also people wandering around late in the evening who didn't seem to be from motorhomes.

Lovely site, and one of the few open all year for many miles around. Good hard standing pitches for winter use, some pitches fully services. Small shop on site, bread van daily. Toilets / showers always clean, wifi a good signal across site. Great bike rides and some lovely chateau to visit in the area.

Good area with plenty of parking on gravel. A service point for water and electric charge, plus there is toilet empty and grey water empty. There are toilets, mainly quite clean - the only problem being the people who use them! There is a small cafe in the centre, popular with cars so lots of traffic coming and going. We found a lot of noise from main road.

Shared spaces with cars, motorhome spaces not defined, when we visited plenty of room for both. There is a borne for water and electric charge at the top end. Lovely grass area at the bottom of parking overlooking the river. Shops within a few minutes walk and the old town area of L'Ecrit is worth visiting.

A good aire for visiting the museum and village. The parking spaces are large, and there is room for 20+ vans. The service area is not well maintained, toilets were shut off. However, less than 15 minutes walk to the museum and town, its free parking that looks secure as many houses around.

No facilities, but very quiet spot overlook the water. We had a peaceful night there with two other motorhomes. Alvito is 15 minutes away for everything you need.

We came across this as listed as a camperstop. GNR told us to park up there overnight. Electric was on plus water etc. However a gent turned up later and said it was closed as toilets not open so we couldn't stay. that said, looked a really well kept site and we would go there again.

We stopped during daytime, no signs to say you need to pay to park overnight? Borne for water is by coin. Very peaceful and quiet place to stop.

Great camperstop, €7 includes electric and water - pay for a ticket at machine (someone comes around a couple of times to check you have tickets). Electric just plugs in, water and waste at borne 50 metres away - now free. Not the most scenic place but its more than adequate for an overnight stop.

We had a very quiet night here, on the botton space nearest the river. One other moho there too - no noise at all other than church bells - perfect for the night.

Wonderful peaceful place to stop. Electric is by token / jeton (buy from Mairie in village) €2 for 4 hours, same for water. There is a toilet and chem disp. We were there with several other vans a popular place right on the canal - brilliant.

When we arrived no one else there. Electric was on, borne for water / waste was off. Looks a lovely place next to the canal but large numbers of gypsy's a few metres away so we didn't stay.

Lovely camperstop by the canal. When we arrived the borne was closed so were told ok to stay for free. Fabulous cycling alongside canal. Tokens for showers, good 7 minutes of hot water plus tokens opens toilets (you get token back from toilet door but not from shower)

Camping is restricted on Barra - this is one of the best places to stay. Owners are wonderful and they are making it a brilliant camping spot.

Carlsberg don't do Camperstops but if they did they would probably have done this one - one of the best we have visited. Agree with previous reviews, its very near perfect - not sure what else it needs so 10/10 from us - thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good, safe, clean and free place for campers. Every thing you need in water, drive over empty grey water, chemical toilet and toilets. The monastery is very worth visiting, super guided tour for €1. Several good cafes in village.

We stopped for lunch, a good spot off the road. No signs to say you can or can't overnight - but several vans had obviously been there a while.

Signs along marina and manin beach all show no motorhomes can park even in daytime. This was the only place and looked very much like a bad car-park, stuck behind buildings. We didn't stop so missed Nazare, shame no decent Camperstops there.

We visited to see the site, too early in day to stop. But it looks excellent, plenty of motorhomes, gates open from 8am to 10pm. Cafe and bar outside were open, boardwalk through the dunes to one beach - less than 2 minutes.

Restaurant and toilets closed, this is really just a parking place, used by local cars as well as motorhomes. Great to stop for a few hours in the day but not an overnight camperstop.

Perfect stop to visit Obidos, no facilities but good parking or overnight within 5 minutes walk of historic town.

We loved this site, hosts are so kind and friendly, even run taxi service to Obidos and other places. Everything clean and secure,very peaceful. Only thing for us that would improve is longer in shower - 4 minutes is not enough :). We would recommend this site- its close to perfect.

We found this a perfect place to stay to visit the city of Riga - very secure, staff very friendly and helpful. Showers were clean and plenty of hot water.

Less than 50 m walk into small village with a couple of cafes and supermarket. Parking busy when church services, otherwise very quiet place. Water fill / empty and chemical disposal. Well signposted Moho parking - free and very good for a night.

We visited, €17 per night in February. The reception was abrupt and un-interested in whether we stayed. So we didn't - prefer to spend our money where we are welcomed.

Good free stopover. The main area was full so we parked along the road with several others. There is plenty of room for 20+ vans along the area.

New Camperstop, 20 minutes walk to Olhao. Small shop with bread, cafe and bar within 50 m. Good showers, washing machine, wifi. Very secure with electric gates. Owner very friendly - we will visit again.

New site - owners both super helpful and friendly and making a fabulous site. Currently only electric hook ups for 6 but they will increase to 12. We would use this site again, very quiet and plenty of space.

Excellent stop for heading South, 4-5 hours from Santander and just a few hundred metres from A62 so a good overnight and we found all facilities were good.

We have stayed here 4 different years, each time site improved further. All facilities are excellent. Some pitches are in total shade, not good in winter - and site usually very busy now so good pitches hard to find with long stayers.

Excellent stop to visit Ypres and of course Menin Gate service in the evening. The campsite is clean and tidy, hardstanding for motorhomes are a little narrow but fine. There is a self service entry when reception is closed with debit cards.

There is also a stellplatz outside - we stayed on that for €8. Electric is €1 for 4 hours. The campsite let us use their wifi for €2 for 24 hours.

We used the Stellplatz on the edge of the site, 20 place all with own water / drain and electric. €17 per night, close to castles, lake cycle paths. We found staff helpful, friendly and all spoke good English - all good for us.

Too many motorhomes 30+, there was less than a metre either side of us, we stayed one night and left. Owners need to come and sort parking. It could be amazing if they limited number of vans.

Amazing views, very friendly hosts. We loved this site, only thing we found strange is not possible to use the bins for rubbish / waste unless we paid 50 cents per small bag. Other than that its perfect.

This is a really good campsite - we paid NK 180 for 2 adults with electric, plus NK 10 for a shower. Campsite close by were asking NOK 260. By the river, with lovely outlook. Toilets / showers old but clean and functional.

Big and clean site, we thought expensive - €10 for the night, €2 electric, €0.50 toilet, €1 shower each, €2.80 tourist tax each - so total over €20.

Campsite has beautiful views over the valley, also less than 15 minutes walk to ancient Delphi. When we stayed toilets were flooded, no one cleaned them or checked, ceilings had collapsed. Shame, lovely place but facilities not great.

We did find the road to the campsite was very bad, worth the trip though for the lovely views and quiet site. Would recommend to take plenty of provisions as its at least 20 minutes drive to a shop.

Site at the end of the village in the grounds of hotel. Good sized pitches all with electric and free wifi. Shower / toilet block very new and very clean. Campers kitchen and washing facilities. Very good site with excellent friendly and helpful staff.

Campsite seemed more like part of the car-park fenced off. There was one caravan there which was the care-taker with several people and dogs. The dogs were allowed to run around the campsite freely. The pitches have electric and there was wifi. We found the toilet / showers to be old and not very clean. Maybe a better site in summer but in spring it was cold and unwelcomming.

This is an excellent site for visiting the tourist town of Bran. The caretaker is a very helpful and friendly man for who noting seems to be too much trouble. Showers and toilets are good and very clean. There is wifi on the site plus electric hookups and plenty of water taps. A lovely site just 10 minutes walk from the castle

Well kept small site which is also part of a MTB facility. Owners very friendly / helpful. The pitches have electric, there is water, showers and toilets plus wifi. Everything is kept very well and very clean. We paid RON 60 per night including the wifi and electric, lovely site we would recommend.

Small campsite to the rear of English owners house. Pitches are good sized, plenty of room and electric hook ups are available. Good clean toilets / showers, chem disposal and wifi all included. Village has couple of shops and a cafe. Good price at LEV 15 per night. Warning - avoid the Elhovo ringroad and drive through town instead - ring road is seriously bad condition.

This is a fabulous campsite. Facilities are immaculate - showers are hot and good water pressure. The site is very well kept and we had good wifi. Site owners are very friendly and helpful, they were always available for any questions. One of the best campsites we have found, we would recommend this site to anyone.
