October, spent three days at this mini-campsite, where we received a very warm welcome. Beautiful, spacious pitches surrounded by nature. The charming town of PONS, with an excellent supermarket a reasonable distance away, and basic sanitary facilities. A great stopover on the way to Spain/Portugal.

October 11th, after a week's stay. This terraced campsite has been our haven for many years, as we enter Portugal from Spain. It's not a campsite for those who need organized entertainment. The pitches are pleasant, not rigidly laid out, with plenty of space and views of greenery and trees. A large, renovated, beautiful pool and terrace are available. Several times a week, an excellent meal is served on the terrace or indoors. Bread and a small kitchen are available upon request.

4 0ctober 2024 .What an idiotic review! P..G.C has either never been here or wants to be interesting. The campsite is open and has never been closed! My email or indeed closed, has been answered never closed, At the entrance, if closed there is an intercom that is responded to quickly. Upon arrival, guided to a spacious spot, sanitary facilities are good and are maintained. Excellent campsite close to South Paris. Access road narrow, arrive in the afternoon. Carel

Were here 9-19 September 2024, with a camper. A well-known nice campsite. against the Sierra. No noise campsite, with a great swimming pool, free to choose, spacious pitches on terraces. Lots of privacy and greenery. Excellent meal twice a week and also simple, with very reasonable prices. The criticisms are not correct. Not stroked egos? A natural campsite with a restaurant is hard work and not an entertainment camp with staff. Carel

May 9, 2024 been here for the 3rd time, all praise! A huge difference from the warehouse that Almanat has unfortunately become. Naturist walking paradise. Excellent host and hostess, well-prepared meals and bread service. Make sure you have enough meals with you (and take the right path with the El Zorro sign) It is a beautiful terraced campsite, which unfortunately can be difficult with rickety knees joke and carel

We spent a few days here, a relief after busy Salamanca. Friendly welcome, beautiful, spacious pitches. good sanitary facilities. beautiful nature. Approach via the south, not via the village greetings carl

May 1 '24 We have been here regularly until 2018, a lot has changed. The name was La Caleta. Now completely modernized A large part of the campsite has been sacrificed to bungalows and glamping. Good, excellent sanitary facilities in high season, too few 3 toilets and 2 showers. by gender. Price € ACSI 23.- Restaurant at the bottom of the campsite via dirt road. Fresh bread in shop. Very busy during the holidays.

We have been passing through here in the (usually cold spring and autumn) for about 12 years. Always well received. Also once when we were very late due to very bad weather, the owner remained open after a phone call. Excellent sanitary facilities and good places. It is incomprehensible that people who apparently have no experience take out their frustrations in this way. You are free to go wherever you want. Bad contact is always possible, but be nuanced. We were there 15-12-'23, it was cold Excellent warm sanitary facilities. very friendly welcome, flat surface for campers. € 21.- incl. electricity. Great stop between Lyon and Spain. carel

We have regularly visited this campsite since 2007 and were there in mid-November 2023. Another friendly welcome from the new owners, they keep the campsite in top condition. As mentioned earlier, and the strongest point of this campsite; the pleasant free pitches and beautiful surroundings. The joint drinks are fun, (mainly Dutch.) Good supermarket about 15 km away in Ourique, excellent restaurant about 7 km away. Carl

16-11-'23 were here on the way to Portugal with a camper. Small campsite close to the road. Good spacious pitches approx. 20 pcs. separated by small trees with a paved road in between. Good and clean sanitary facilities. Enjoyed the meal for extremely reasonable prices. Excellent alternative as a transit campsite. Close to Salamanca. In high season, first contact by telephone is recommended Carl

The previous reviews are during high season. We were there on September 18, around 2:00 PM, the barrier was closed and opened by help after telephone contact. The reception was open at 4:00 PM and after a very long time filling out forms, we registered. Sanitary facilities have a concrete floor that was moldy and dirty. Everything else is closed, including a fence around the campsite so you cannot walk near the river. Clearly late season in a depopulated campsite. Bourges is then recommended Carl

We have been coming to this campsite for about 15 years on our travels to and through Portugal. Always a friendly and hospitable welcome and the campsite fortunately continues to offer the free atmosphere and unframed pitches. The food is fine and there are a number of beautifully preserved villages in the area. Joke and Carl

We have been there for the 3 X on our tour Spain / Portugal. Camping is a relief after the unpleasant crowds in Salamanca. Were planning to stay 5 days ended up staying 11, that says enough. Host and hostess ensure a pleasant stay and pleasant food. Thank you Joke and Carl

What is stated above is still true, unfortunately the popularity has clear disadvantages. We have been coming here for 15 years as a stop over to portugal. Due to illness, the old owner has handed over the campsite to a friendly daughter and son-in-law. long waiting time at check-in is normal. The 2 large fields are camper parking. The restaurant is no longer family run and has raised its status. The sanitary facilities are fine but not well suited to the crowds.

We arrived 1 day before Semana Santa at ACSI rate €28.- the days after that €76.! per day. Furthermore, a nice campsite has been coming for about 10 years, reasonable pitches, good sanitary facilities and a good restaurant. Bad pebble beach The dogs that are not under control, yes, those are the Spaniards, they do not use bags and also let the dogs run free. We stood next to a busy family with 2 dogs. If that annoys you, don't go to Spain. carel

we are amazed at the level and language used in these reviews like "bullshit" football screamers? Also sad if you miss extreme facilities on a camper holiday. The terrible dog story is also wrong. We have been coming to this campsite for about 15 years now and yes, it is a pity that it is so popular and therefore busy, especially Germans with large expensive campers. But there are no dog excrement anywhere and bags are used to clean it up. Carl

We have been coming here since 2007, after about 2018 the generally pleasant atmosphere has changed. The excellent leg of lamb was also no longer prepared in the clay oven. Unfortunately, the son showed no interest in the campsite. As far as we know, an attempt was made to sell the campsite during our visit in 2022. It would be a shame if this excellent stopover (albeit with very basic sanitary facilities and partly tight spots) stops. With regards, Carel Blazer Lelystad

We were here before, now from 30/4-7/5, reserved en route as it is (fortunately) not a large campsite. Friendly reception. Beautifully landscaped with sufficient privacy on the pitches. The area is not exciting but enough nature to enjoy. You can have a nice meal on the terrace. The "kitchen" has limited choice, ok. Bring your own stock. Plumbing is fine, don't complain, we've been camping for 15 years now, we know what's good and what's bad.

Perfect as a camper park, excellent luxury sanitary facilities, regularly cleaned. Beautiful swimming pool. Small reasonable restaurant, bread 's 3 x upside down, but Spar and further away large Mas-0Mas easily accessible by bicycle or motorbike. Various places, size determines price, Surroundings of closed plantations, further Duffe urbanization, where the access to the beach is about 1 km. In short: excellent stay at a motorhome. Environment not interesting. carel

We had also been here 10m years ago, it turned out not much has changed. Friendly welcome and wide choice of places. No luxury sanitary facilities but sufficient. Unfortunately, our condition was a lot worse, especially Joke's knee needs to be "replaced". Since it is a pretty steep terraced campsite, that turned out to be too heavy and we left after a week without going for a walk in the beautiful surroundings. carel

Are here in 2014/16 and now November 1, 2019. As a transit camp site excellent. No Acsi rate after 30/10. Spacious places, via paved access + 10 Amp and an excellent, heated sanitary block with paper and toilet seat ad. € 27.60. Yes relatively higher price but this previously discussed with the owner, absolutely necessary due to higher costs. It is definitely not busy at this time.
Sitecode: 59274
we come here regularly as transit camp. the plumbing has been improved enormously with the new owners. Always friendly help, and if you have to wait, very nice walking environment, Very nice is the great Marché where you can provide extensive and delicious supplies and refuel cheaply.
Sitecode: 46509
We have been here twice before. Nicely decorated campsite on different levels. Now there were after heavy showers 20 / 10-18. Places with heavy soft clay soil, with camper careful. In holiday autumn, popular with NL children who scream incredibly loud and hard. Was reason for French neighbors to leave. NL habit not to provide toilet paper. Wifi too weak. Terrace now with piza.
Sitecode: 44428
Are here regularly, glad that they have survived the fire, very nice location if you love nature and free to choose places. Yes the plumbing is simple, moderately heated but ok If you're used to a luxury resort with terraced pitches, swimming pool with slide, or free, empty camper parking places you are probably not satisfied here. Carel
Sitecode: 22465
As a camper place absolutely a great location. If you prefer to park parked together, there is a problem. Now in October very quiet, beautiful view of reservoir. Yes there is only one toilet and shower, simple but it's a camper! With swimming pool and approx 20 st. 10 Amp connections, oh yes and a clean good swimming pool. We know campsites where it is worse for the double amount. Carel

All positive experiences are correct. We have been here with the camper since 2007. In 2016 2 x. Unfortunately - Albert and Herman want to experience the same freedom that their visitors have and sell the beautiful camping in perfect condition and closed on 01-08-2017, but they are right. Who buys and goes on?

We've been here nearly nine years in the pre-season or a camper with pleasure. However, since the merger with Yahoo, etc. and the large expansion of houses has become a busy holiday resort with pool crowded and often very noisy campers. The facilities are ok, the staff also, they exhausted sometimes. Too bad, but so does mass tourism.
Sitecode: 46342
We come here often as a last or first stop after France with a camper Quality has unfortunately become less clear. Old and inadequate sanitation, generally well occupied, close together, so a busy site (lots of strange winter) with good supermarket and town with some shops. Visit from mid-October to November approximately 1/2 inadvisable because of heavy noise by cutting with chain saws. Mrs gr Carel
Sitecode: 24408
We come with the camper regularly for a short time, a large town costs in low season € 23-, and discharge with own water. Reasonable shop at camping / motorhome 3 restaurants. Beautiful beach. In case of rain mud roads Sanitary from poor to excellent, with the more expensive places. Wifi extremely expensive. Campers far Sanitary

End of September 2016, 4 nights with RV> 7 mt. and motor. Very friendly and knowledgeable front desk ladies good English speaking. Placing variable, as search related trees and gradient blocks necessary. Electricity 10Amp. Good restaurant with a view, daily special € 9. Sanitary excellent. Beautiful nature park at about 17 km. Beautiful town idem, we were there with about 32 * C, activity only to about 12 hours of fun.
Sitecode: 26715
We come here with a motorhome since 2007 on the ride to Portugal, the site is (not yet) tightly organized. Reception is friendly, requires patience. The places for more than about 7 m somewhat limited. If an organized group is too busy, noisy and not enough (or good) plumbing. The restaurant has plenty of choice. Bus service to Salamanca from the campsite Region better.
Sitecode: 10003
Joke and Carel We were 13 05-2016 in bad weather, friendly reception, pointed us to the unsuitable places. Rest was soggy and muddy. Places are not marked with the crowds is an RV parking with cars on a half meters apart. Sanitary clean but neglected. € 19.- not worth it close to town.
Sitecode: 40250
We are often stopped at this site on the route to Portugal because of the short distance to Paris. In the early spring and autumn bread order is not possible. Restaurant closed, no marches in the area, but economical pump. Power 10 amp. Sanitary very moderate not step on grass with rain, heavy camper.
