It is a beautiful place. Been there before. Only problem is that especially the Dutch people stand wide with awnings and chairs so that there is less space for others. Just came from Portugal and Spain and there too not always but regularly the Dutch who want as much space as possible at the expense of other campers. What is that?

I think 5 stars is a bit too much but it is one of the few close to the village and the sea where overnight parking is not allowed anymore. I was just checking the site but will definitely come back here as I love this area.

I love this campsite because it is under nice smelling pine trees. There are good showers. I can imagine in summer that the swimming pool is very nice to have. I also like the location. Close to Sao Miguel where there is some nice hiking. And then beautiful beaches ( and Fisherman's Trail) close by as well a nice village.

Nice campsite. I was here in November 2024 and have not seen many permanent caravans and campers at all. ofcourse dated but which campsite in Portugal is not. I think this campsite is fairly good compared to others. Hot showers and also hot water for the dishes. Close to town and there are some supermarkets like lidl and intermarche.

Beautiful quiet place. As previously noted, this is managed by Camping Car. The information in the app is not correct with telephone reservations and arrival at a certain time. Previously used the spa here which was very nice. Nearby, an old railway line is now used as a cycle path and walking path.

Because of a problem with my fridge I am staying on the campsite nearby but I came running to this very nice spot. Ofcourse not so busy in November but definitely a very good spot. More quiet spot then the average place. There were a couple of campers with a lot of space. Recently they updated the bus schedule to Aveiro. Line 36.

Can't actually give any stars because the campsite was closed on November 8. Open to the houses. I came from the North over a beautiful mountainous road. environment worth seeing.

Great nights sleep here. That silence is no longer easy to find. Not at all in the Netherlands.

I don't give 5 stars easily but this free place is quite unique especially with the amenities. There are indeed trucks, but I think the nuisance is limited, but that will probably differ from time to time. Close to the center and nice walking area. There is a market here on Tuesdays and then you can't easily leave.

Very nice place. Some road noise but not too much. also shops nearby. I almost didn't come because it said arrival was during opening time. So that's not correct.

expensive but found the campsite nice and clean and very good location relative to Odeceixe and Sao Miguel you can eat delicious and cheap. hinterland is beautiful for walking and very nice beach also within walking distance if you like to walk. you can walk part of the Roto de Vincentina along the coast. Very nice. nearby is also Vida Pura where you can participate in Yoga when everything is back to normal.

Beautiful camper place without more but with South West wind not very quiet near the highway. Silence is unfortunately becoming a scarce commodity. I am in my camper all year round so I can compare quite well, but if you have to be in this area or to cycle, it is a nice place.

wonderfully quiet place with a boulangerie nearby and possibly also a shop at Ecolonie with their organic fruit and vegetables and other organic products. Nice for walking and cycling. Darney at (beautiful) cycling distance has an intermarche and also a few camper pitches.

May 8, 2016 We have just been here but he left because we were not quiet enough.

We were there around May 8, 2016. We thought it was a beautiful place. No problems with loiterers so we were obviously lucky. We had a very quiet with three other campers. Quite new place to discharge waste water and take water. Police there is close to office. Nice village. come back here for sure

Whole beautiful place and beautiful place. Overnight on October 23, 2015 unfortunately ended as toilet water and electricity. 7 euro price would now be seen, but no one to pay for possible closure because of water and ekectriciteit. You can empty waste water lost and toilet. Paul and Kalindi
