camping places on rubble path. beach looks nice but when you are in the water up to your knees you suddenly sink half a meter deep is dirty mud and it remains shallow. water also not very fresh. in the evening and at night a lot of trouble with many mosquitoes and vermin everywhere on the campsite. sanitary facilities are spacious but are also full of mosquitoes etc. maybe nice to rent a boat in the harbor and go on the lake but you don't have to do it for the campsite

A nice quiet campsite in the middle of a nature reserve where new construction is currently taking place, which should be ready in 2024. There is a large sunbathing area at the Neusielder See with a demarcated area for bathers, but the bottom is very muddy. Also presence of Strandbar Windsbraut with delicious food unfortunately grumpy plot against English speaking guests and not helpful. There are good cycle paths as well as the Leithageberge for racing bikes

Campsite suitable for water sports enthusiasts. Large sunbathing area on the lake and sufficient space, even in high season. Surfboard rental. Paved surface. Costs €42 per night (camper, 2 persons + dog) Nothing else to do, baker comes in the morning with sandwiches. No camp store. However, bar / cafeteria that was only open during the day. Sanitary facilities are more than sufficient. Typical Austria: it says everywhere what you are not allowed to do. Friendly reception.
