City Camping Antwerp

The location of this campsite is fine, but the grounds look messy. Note the LEZ (see campsite website); a vignette is required for stays under €5, which makes visiting with a camper very expensive, as you need two day passes (2 x €45). We paid €29.60 per night for the campsite, including electricity. The sanitary facilities are clean, though a bit old and not very extensive for the size of the campsite. One side borders a park where there is noise from visitors and playing children.

Telephone registration was not possible, and the online reservation failed twice. Our email also went unanswered. Now we have to wait in line for another two hours.

Super location relative to the historic center, water bus, ferry, or bicycle tunnel. Beautiful grounds with large trees, spacious pitches, quietly situated; sanitary facilities very cramped with significant occupancy, such as from Friday to Saturday.
