Barrier still broken eight very tightly parked spaces we couldn’t get in unfortunately as full; however, there was a gentleman at this aire who had apparently been there some time and made us feel like he was in charge which isn’t acceptable behaviour and was taking advantage of the fact that all facilities were free.

Stayed 1 night. Felt very safe. All services, elec 4 a. Pitches are small so not much room between vans. there is noise/humming from overhead road even overnight but was ok for us. Barrier was up so no payment. Great for the bus into Ghent. Turn left out of the Park and at the end of the road turn right. Bus stop 300m on right. No 11 bus into city, every 10 mins. No cash, tap card on entry. Ghent is a beautiful city.
