We stayed here for two nights. You can walk straight into the city and have direct access to the fortress walking paths. It's right next to the railway and the road, but that rarely bothered us. In mid-February, there were about five campers here at any given time. It's on cobblestones, so even in rain or snow, it's not a boggy mess. There are no facilities!

Good for a one night stopover. Very noisy in the morning with the traffic. Only a 10 min walk into town.

Large combined parking lot for trucks, coaches, and cars. Located between a railway line and a busy road. Noisy. No amenities, but a great location for visiting Ypres. Within walking distance of the city center and the Menin Gate.
