Camping de la Semois

Outdated sanitary block with 2 showers and 4 toilets for both the women and the men. When it's busy, you have to queue. Around 10 pm/10:30 pm, while you were still sitting outside enjoying yourself, the host came to announce that it wasn't a festival campsite but a family campsite. He went around saying this everywhere people were still sitting outside enjoying their evening. This happened even though no one was being noisy. Been there X times in the past, never experienced anything like this before… Different owners?

A really nice campsite. Beautifully situated on a river. The sanitary facilities were kept spotlessly clean. The staff was very friendly. We would definitely go back.

We used to stay here regularly, but it's now a campsite in decline. Because of the Chassepierre festival, we paid the hefty price of €50 per night. It's perfectly fine to charge double, but you do expect a hot, well-functioning shower with running water. A toilet seat that doesn't open all the way, and a light in the toilet at night. Such a shame for this once beautiful and beautifully situated campsite.
