Beautiful, quiet campsite, with only a trash can and no other facilities. A visit to Egeskov Castle is definitely worthwhile. We would love to come back again.

We were able to sleep peacefully here after visiting the castle. You pay 80 Danish kroner (approx. €10) for the overnight stay, which a lot of campers don't do despite the sign; not very considerate, but well, that's just what campers do, right? The park is free, except for access to the castle, and all the museums there are free to visit. There are also plenty of play areas for children. But fellow campers: do pay for the night, okay? That is the polite thing to do.

Perfect. Arrive in the evening, spend the night (totally quiet), and head to the castle the next morning. Absolutely worth seeing.
