Camping Sønderborg

A lovely, medium-sized campsite, divided into two sections by a quiet street, both with clean and good facilities. There's a small shop offering coffee, ice cream, chips, and sandwiches. A very friendly welcome awaits you. The town and harbor of Sønderborg are just a 1-kilometer walk away, along the promenade. A large indoor shopping mall is located next to small shopping streets. The castle, with its beautiful exhibitions, is highly recommended. We stayed here for two nights.

A neat campsite with an extremely friendly owner. Good showers and fresh bread rolls in the morning (which you can pay for in euros). A stroll along the boulevard to the restaurants of Sønderborg is a must. Bistro Grand-Mêre is highly recommended.

The campsite is excellent. We were pitched in the meadow opposite the entrance (locals call it the "floodplain"). After the heavy rain of the past few days, it was clear why. Luckily, we were on the higher (and dry) side. The pitches aren't level, but that can be fixed. The sanitary facilities are excellent: spacious and clean. The beach and harbor are a 5-minute walk away, and the town center is 20 minutes away. A bit expensive though: over 40 euros per night.
