Very isolated but safe and quiet. Great for watching the aurora (when possible). No amenities, but a dream location.

We were here on May 17, 2023. Very quiet place without facilities. A dry toilet is present but not really clean.
Aug 2022
We have been there for 3 nights. Arrived August 15, 2022 and departed the 18th. we thought it was a wonderful location for the dogs. Very quiet at night. Also during the day enjoyed the sun and the peace. Unfortunately had to enter on time on the 17th due to the strong wind. It is a pity that there are no waste bins in such a beautiful location.

flat place on the water at a reservoir in the river - in the lake you can fish via the fishing pier and a fire pit - pebble beach / bathing possible - ideal place if you want to be off grid - Kitinen near Aapajärvi - center 19km
