We stayed for three nights on a lovely, quiet pitch. The pitches aren't level everywhere, but they are spacious and sheltered.
The sanitary facilities are a bit dated, but generally clean.
Beautiful surroundings, especially around the Puy de Dome and other mountain passes.
The owner is certainly not unpleasant, but she is clear, which doesn't always resonate with everyone, as it turns out.
Visited the campsite for one night while traveling through. It's close to the highway. A Dutch-speaking couple and their daughter run the campsite.
€43 for a family with two children. A true nature campsite. Quiet, no play areas for children.
Beautiful pitches along the water. We stayed on July 30th and were completely alone on a field with approximately 40 pitches.
There's a restaurant on site, open from 7:30 PM.
Sanitary facilities are basic, clean, and free.
Upon arrival, the Dutch lady was waiting for us like a sturdy mother in the doorway. It soon became clear that she did not appreciate a bit of humor. It had to be clear that she was not to be messed with. A fixed expression of hers was "it's my campsite and these are my rules". We obediently left... it was clear to us in one fell swoop. You don't go camping for fun, but you have to get back in line.
