La Graville

Nice and friendly campsite in the middle of the beautiful walking and cycling area of the Drome and near the village of Saou. Facilities are basic but fine. We especially liked the beautiful places and the nice atmosphere here, including the chickens roaming around and curiously coming to inspect the bus every now and then. We will come back when we are in the area again.

The campsite is located in a beautiful location, but there is a lot of overdue maintenance. Sanitary facilities very old and worn. There is also little or no cleaning. There are also chickens running loose on the campsite. Apart from the droppings they leave behind, the chicken-hunting dog combination is not a success for us. Apparently new owner from November. We wish him the best of luck in making it a beautiful place because that is certainly possible.
