Camping Belle-Rive

A campsite that you have to love. A bit messy but super relaxed. Choose your spot and drink a nice glass of wine on the terrace. A campsite that reminds us of camping as we used to do. In addition to campers, there are also many tents, which makes it cozy. From here there are beautiful cycling routes, including no. 10; through villages and vineyards. As far as we are concerned, a great campsite. We extended our stay. Great!

Pleasant campsite situated in a kind of 'bowl', with lots of bird sounds, nice vibe. Friendly manager. We were moved because of noisy neighbours in one of the houses, the manager did speak to them, that was helpful. Toilet building fine, shower cramped and old (men). Bread service. Delicious sausages with fries, nice terrace. Good base to visit Montsoreau, Candes-Saint-Martin, Fontevraud Abbey.

A somewhat messy campsite, but that also makes this place special and relaxed. Many cyclists spend the night here, but facilities for campers (spacious pitches, electricity, gray water discharge, water intake and chemical toilet emptying) are also excellent. To use the sanitary facilities you have to climb a high flight of stairs, but then you get surprisingly good facilities. We paid €26 p.n. incl. electricity
