we stayed here for 1 night, 12.00 euros, very quiet place, small shower and toilet, on grass, sunny and shady spot

nice quiet place, everything is there and clean. shower not big, pulling string, water temperature fluctuating. nothing to do in the village. The basilica is beautiful. The whitewater canoe course was not navigable, little water in the river.

it is the river CHER not the Creuse. the town is also called chateauneuf sur cher! at 8-7 there was hardly anyone there. Reception has a very long lunch break (see photo) until 4 or 5 o'clock and then the barrier remains closed. Fortunately the lady wanted to come an hour earlier after we called. toilet and shower with key. White water course at the campsite is fun. Nice grass, big trees, right on the river CHER.
