Aire Municipale

Free tarmac parking beside municipal campsite and pool (pool closes 31st August) 1 night permitted then you must use campsite. Nice village with few shops/cafes and on the Cycle path through villages which we were going to do but had flat tyre! Good tourist info in village and lovely chateau with free outside access & museum with prehistoric history. Free dump/fresh fill area. Quiet overnight, pump didn’t disturb us but it was on. Walking trails.

Maybe it's the season, but we didn't hear a filter pump; in fact, the silence struck us. If you pitch your tent near the service station, you are even further from the pool than some other spots on the campsite. We think it's a great place.

Just an update. One can discuss the place, but all facilities and this for free. Awesome. No pump noise. One may only stay one night, but the campsite is less than 10 euros, if you want electricity 4 euros extra. Its swimming pool between July and August costs barely 2.5 euros. If you are at the campsite even free. Who does better???
