Camping La Poterie

A beautiful, well-maintained, small-scale campsite right on the banks of the Loire River with stunning views from the terrace. Spacious, mostly shady pitches, a small shop, bread service, and a selection of evening meals served on the terrace. Wonderful, constant hot water in the restrooms, also for dishwashing. The "La Loire à Vélo" cycle path runs right past the campsite. The owners are very hospitable and friendly.

Nice campsite with very friendly managers. Speak English and are very helpful. Various cycling routes in the area. Amboise is a nice town with shops, terraces and a beautiful chateau. Cycling routes through the vineyards. Many wine caves, tastings.

Just a great campsite. Large private pitches and good sanitary facilities. The owners are so helpful and friendly and can’t do enough for you.
