Camping Touristique de Gien

Nice campsite with a small pool, good sanitary facilities, and spacious pitches, village within walking distance.

The pitches are large and offer plenty of shade. Plenty of choice in the off-season. We stayed here for 2 nights. Unfortunately, we hardly slept the first night due to the noisy behavior of people staying in the cottages opposite us. When we spoke to the reception about this, they told us that this group had to leave the campsite that same day. As compensation, we were offered breakfast. It was very professional how this was handled. Hats off.

Stayed here for 3 nights and everything was in tip-top order. Plenty of hot water and the sanitary facilities were very clean. Nice view of the Loire and Gien. A small supermarket in a warehouse around the corner is very convenient, with pleasant advice on regional wines and cheese.
