Camping Mont Olympe

Excellent park-like campsite close to a small recreational harbor at the tributary of the Meuse. Spacious pitches with water and greywater drainage. Good and clean sanitary facilities. The new owners have apparently read last year's reviews carefully: everything is in perfect order! Please note: there is no separate entrance for pedestrians and cyclists: either over the terrace or under the barrier. Close to a surprisingly beautiful and chic square in the old center of Charleville.

After all the negative reviews, I visited this campsite with some hesitation. But it is a beautiful facility; indeed, one of the two lovely toilet blocks was closed, and in the showers, hooks and shelves have disappeared and the urinals are out of order. So be it. The friendly receptionist even cleans the whole place; I wouldn't want to be in her shoes! Spacious hot showers, by the way! A great base for visiting the beautiful city. Please note: check-in after 14:00.

We were here on May 8th and 9th and were once again enthusiastic about the campsite. Clean and spacious, and an ideal base for cycling and hiking. One comment: the water taps waste a lot of water. The time the water runs could be much shorter. This is just a tip. We will definitely be back.
