Camping La Presqu’île de Champaubert

This is a great campsite with good sanitary facilities. Reception speaks French, English, and Dutch. Friendly staff. The campsite closes in the afternoon until 2:00 PM. Cycling around the lake is a pleasant experience. Bird lovers will also find plenty to do here; there are several hides along the route around the lake. In March and October, you can see cranes here.

Lovely campsite on the lake. Good restaurant with a great view and friendly service. The sanitary facilities are excellent (perhaps recently renovated). This is our 8th campsite this trip, and we've never had such large showers before, complete with a sink and hairdryer. Cycling around the lake (about 35 km) is very enjoyable.
