Camping de l'Ill - Colmar

Nice campsite, you can find a spot yourself. There is a lot of space, we were a bit skeptical because there were so many mobile homes, but that turned out not to be too bad. The restaurant was open on the day of arrival, but the next day was a rest day. we spent 2 nights here at this very quiet campsite. We will definitely come back here. You can visit Colmar by first walking to Munster for 30 minutes and from there you can take the train to Colmar.

Nice welcome at the reception. But the price-quality ratio is poor. Noise from the highway, part of the sanitary facilities closed, no water taps near the pitches. fetching fresh water, toilet building at a great distance. We were standing by the river and there was no lighting at all. When visiting the toilet building in the dark, you have to climb stairs without lighting. Very dangerous. Payment is made immediately upon booking.

It says it's full but what they just want is for you to book online. So that's what we did when we were in front of it. Booked for 2 nights without electricity and not near the river. When we arrived it turned out that we were put at the river so don't pay too much! where we stood there was a small passage into the river and I had a wonderful time floating in the water. Road is audible but not disturbing for us. friendly lady at the counter.
