Fantastically situated campsite with many beautiful places, also for large campers. You can choose your own place and with the weather of the past few days the place in the shade was also lovely. Due to the altitude it cools down well at night. Too bad that there seems to be almost no cleaning of toilet buildings and maintenance of swimming pool. Love/involvement from owners seems to be lacking. At least nothing to get at the campsite in this period.

Very full campsite in August. Quiet crowd, great for children. Nice green campsite, but small pitches on higher terraces. Sometimes steep, narrow access, and boulders. The pitch we reserved was even too narrow for a VW camper. Advice: first go and have a look on foot before you get stuck, especially with a caravan, or ask for a pitch downstairs.

Nice, clean campsite with good, spacious and shady pitches. Beautiful surroundings with beautiful hiking trails. that's what we went for. No significant restaurant within walking distance, Le Tholy offers little else. Gerardmer is easy to drive and there is plenty to do if you are looking for it.
