Camping de Riquewihr

Because the French need at least two hours to eat lunch, we made sure we arrived at this campsite before noon. We found the price rather high: €27.10 WITH an ACSI card! When we inquired at reception, we were told this was because they charged an extra €5 for arrivals before noon!!! I've never experienced this before! It's completely absurd. If you leave the campsite before noon, you don't get a €5 refund.

A lovely, friendly campsite. Friendly staff. Sufficient and clean sanitary facilities. Nothing wrong with that. A good location for exploring the beautiful towns in the area, such as Colmar, Kaysersberg, and Ribeauville, by bike. We had a pleasant stay.

Beautiful campsite next to a main road. No traffic at night, so no disturbance. Receptionists speak French, German, and English. There's no supermarket within walking distance, but there's a different food truck every evening. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. Showers are shared between men and women, and toilets are separate. Beautiful surroundings and an ideal base for exploring the region.
