Champagne Philippe Hautem

We really wanted to stay here, so we sent an email because reservations are required, but unfortunately, we never received a response. Such a shame. We went looking for another, very nice campervan site a little further away. Highly recommended: Aire de Camping-CAR La Carriere. Site code 64418

What lovely owners! We arrived on December 26th. It was difficult to find a spot. After asking, we were allowed to park our camper on the property, even though it was actually closed. There was electricity, but no other amenities. No charge, but we did buy a fantastic bottle of champagne. A place to remember!

This looked like a nice spot, and upon arrival, it was. A woman immediately approached us to tell us they were closed, which was a shame, as they advertised opening hours from January 1st to December 31st. So, we had to look for another spot on Christmas Eve. The woman showed us one about 4 kilometers away, where we were eventually able to find one.
