Camping Coeur de la Foret

A very friendly welcome, lovely pitches. All amenities on site. A bit dated, but very clean and everything works, including laundry facilities. Close to the Compiègne forest with excellent hiking and cycling trails.

The campsite is beautifully situated near Pierrefonds. The Belgian manager is very friendly and helpful. The sanitary facilities are heated but are gradually due for replacement. A visit to the castle is a must. The monument/museum commemorating the German surrender during the 1914-1918 war is also nearby and well worth a visit.

Lovely campsite. Friendly management. Heated sanitary facilities. Bread service. Spacious pitches. And of course, a good base for (walking) to the enormous castle. The wooded area is also great for cycling. Open until the end of October.
