Service Porte de Plaisance

Campsite in the harbor on a secured site (via tag entry and exit), about a 10-minute bike ride from the city center. Arrive on time as it fills up quickly; we were there just past 12 and got the last spot. Equipped with toilets, showers, and a washer/dryer.

We arrived in the afternoon and the place was full, so we drove on to a campsite and decided to come back in the morning. Done just like that, found a spot (all campers leaving), went to the office to settle the bill, where we were immediately yelled at by a very angry man: "It’s full!" I said I was already there, but I had to leave if I wasn't going to spend the night there, even though I paid for it!? Take the other FREE spot, much nicer! Easily accessible by the water.

Stayed there on Sept 5 and 6, 2026; a bit difficult to find, but with GPS coordinates we managed; space for 35 campers, so you do have to be there on time; cycled along the boulevard, further on there was a nice flea market; in Rouen a beautiful cathedral. The camper site was okay.
