Château Saint Ahon

Very nice, idyllic spot for about 6-6 RVs. Arrival required by 6 p.m. €10 per night, including water and toilets, but a few minutes' walk away. We felt very safe.

Nice reception, French English. Escape from the hustle and bustle, despite train and planes still a feeling of nature. Delicious wines with explanation. Bordeaux next time by bike (13 km says maps). Beautiful location, we will come back.

The site itself is located on a winery. Tastings are possible. Restrooms and fresh water are available, but electricity and sewage are not. We used the site to visit Bordeaux. It's a 25-minute walk (5 minutes by bike) to the stop and about 30 minutes by tram (C3) to the center of Bordeaux. Parking fee: €10. PLEASE NOTE: Closed on Sundays.
