No complaint with campsite. Beach view was beautiful and access to the dune which was worthwhile doing. Amenities were spotless. However the advertised bus route to the lovely town of Arcachon was not running and the nearest bus stop was 3 km away. Just a word of caution my husband and myself ordered a taxi which was 35 euros there and a whopping 55 euros back. A different taxi firm but an extortionate rate for a 12 km journey.

the reception at the reception is reasonable, count on half an hour before you are on your seat. Unfortunately, most places are not well laid out and there was a fire in 2022, which means that the atmosphere is somewhat less. tasty pizza that is available at a nice stand with friendly people. be sure to ask for a place with a sea view because this gives a completely different, almost magical experience! it is on the more expensive side though.
