Camping Les Varennes - Ile de Ré

very nice campsite, nice and clean sanitary facilities. Staff very nice and involved. great starting point to explore the island by bike. We will definitely come back.

This is one of the best sites we have stayed at. Turned up on spec and lucky to get a pitch. Would definitely recommend booking in higher season. Washroom and toilets etc are spotlessly clean, modern and each is in a separate private cubicle. Lovely pools, great little shop and all staff super helpful. The location is great, a 15min walk into the village or 10mins to the beautiful beach. Thoroughly recommend!

Very nice, quiet campsite in a perfect location! Cross the road, walk a short distance through the forest and you are on the beach. Spacious camper spots. Sanitary building heated and super clean, more than enough showers, toilets and washrooms. Hot water for washing. Very friendly and helpful staff!! Shop and nice market (every day) nearby.
