Aire de Camping-Car Oradour-sur-Glane

Camper pitch as expected from this organization. What is new is that you have to top up and don't pay the amount per night. So there is always money left on the card. The toilets were a filthy mess, as were the trash containers, which were overflowing, and there was an abundance of empty bottles around the container. Not what we had expected.

Nice location to visit the Village martyr. The camp site itself started about 10 places free, but these places were on the inner circle, If you don't have a leveling system or tall wedges, it is impossible to park at level. We found 1 spot near the entrance

Marked slight slope parking with 2 places per segment not 1 big space as it looks first glance, vans parking width way!Feels neglected should be spotless for poignancy of memorial village, glass bottles around dirty closed toilet building, although recycling outside barrier, bins with large maggots, weeds. Convenient 10 mins to entrance, visitor centre closed until 2027 for major renovations, martyr village/shop/guide desk open. Dump/fresh good.
