Aire de Camping-Car

This Aire is just what you need for parking and services. Large, flat individual bays but no camping allowed. Easy walk up to nice town with a Gondola in the summer only up to the Cirque Du Lys and buses to Port D'Espagne and Lac Du Gaube €8. Very busy even on a weekend of torrential rain in September. Cost is now €12 for 24 hrs pay and display with reg. no. Access to services is free if just passing through as no barrier.

Thanks to the municipality for the campervan parking. Unfortunately, it is deplored that the toilet cassette emptying services do not match the quality of the parking. You often have to lift a metal plate with a string and lots of waste that is really not very clean. You could do better when emptying toilet cassettes. Nice camper parking with electricity. We paid EUR 23 for 48h. Nice location near the center of Cauterets and ski lift (open in summer). Unloading area for dirty water, but not for WC. Some visitors therefore emptied chemical toilet on water emptying place.
