Camping Le Rotja

Sanitary facilities are basic and sometimes very crowded. It's a shame that cars are parked near empty pitches, so other campers look at your car while you have an unobstructed view. Otherwise, a great campsite with plenty of activities for young people. Villefranche and its fort are very beautiful, and the surrounding area is also stunning. A nice stop for a few days.

We stayed there for one night. It was fine, the owner was friendly and the Dutch were very nice. They cooked their own meals, as everyone says, with a small snack. However, the food cost €25 per person. We arrived late, and the owner said we could join them. We only saw these prices later. Points of interest: Some spots require a long power cord. You do need to like church bells (even at night, at least two bells per hour). Supermarket is far away. Price is a bit high for this type of campsite!

Very friendly welcome. Beautiful location. The campsite offers a simple buffet meal every evening. It's easy to cycle to Villefranche-de-Conflet. From there, we took the Train de Jaune to Mont Louis. Very nice. The sanitary facilities are basic but clean!
