Camping-car Park de Pierrefitte-Nestalas

Good aire with toilet. Very busy with the Tour De France nearby. Aire full and people who reserved were getting in but no space so parking up on grass. At times throughout day the barrier up and a lot in for water etc. Don’t know why camping car parks makes you pay to be able to book when the system is obviously flawed.

Well priced, quiet, you can walk straight into the village and have beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. All facilities available. Too bad about the two profiteers who spent the night outside the barrier and casually came to empty two (!) cassettes in the morning.

After some startup problems with the terminal (software issue), this was solved with a remote phone call and I could go. Nice place, toilet is present and tidy. The road to Cauterets is behind/above. This one is not busy now.
