Today, September 4, 2026, the site is currently being developed. There is no water or waste disposal; please take precautions before coming, but it is peaceful.

Just cycled past. There are fences in front, so it's closed. Otherwise, it looked pretty good.

This aire is peaceful and quiet with hard-standing throughout. There are no facilities other than a waste bin at the entrance. It has a card machine and barrier equipment that has been out of order for at least three years, so at the moment it is free. Great base for cycling the island. There is a SuperU supermarket in Barbâtre.
