Sam Suffy

I think the previous campers didn't stay at the right spot. The grassy area by the water with the picnic table is simply a public lawn. You are not allowed to park there. The camper spot described above is on the Sam Suffy campsite itself. It is a square patch of grass surrounded by high hedges on a poorly maintained campsite where there are otherwise only mobile homes.

Crazy, but beautiful place, quiet, free. No amenities, no shops or restaurants. Fairly loud highway nearby and very loud frogs at night. Good for passing through.

A quiet, pleasant spot. Right by the lake, and there's a bench and table for sitting. You can dispose of your trash and glass. We had a pleasant night here. The only sounds came from birds by the lake.
