Visited May 2020. Easily accessible even with large motorhomes. Friendly reception staff (we arrived outside office hours but they opened the reception for us). Straightforward check/in: They take a copy of your ID and you pay 20 Eur deposit for the gate access chip (if you stay on the camping section). No forms to fill out etc. Property consists of 3 levels. Lower level: Motorhome parking. Spacious pitches but not suitable for large (ie 9m+) motorhomes due to pitch dimensions and somewhat narrow maneuvering space. This section gets a bit of road noise. The view is idyllic though. Middle level: Camping place. All pitches hardened. Clean, well maintained. Comfort pitches have power/fresh water/sewage connections. Power 16A at pedestals, included in fee. 1 pedestal for 2 pitches. This section much quieter compared to lower level. Upper level: Another terrace for camping (under construction at the time of visit). Strong 4G signal (Operator: O2). 15Mbps down, 4Mbps up (tested on a weekday noon time). Good lighting throughout property at night. Aldi 1km, Rewe 2km. Water fill up and disposal station at the entrance on Middle level. Fresh water requires coins. Nice hiking paths around, biking also possible in the valley, otherwise hilly. Another "kid oriented" camping though, we had the impression that dogs were not so welcome. We were instructed to keep our little dog on leash at all times although the camping was literally completely empty! Also, stay on the lookout for ticks (caught 9 ticks during a short hike!). One of the camping employees (driving a blue Audi) seemed to be a control freak, apparently having adopted his life's mission to find a flaw at every encounter with guests. He was a minor nuisance though. Pricing on the higher side (Paid 180 EUR for 4 nights).
