Kreiterhof Egerten

When you drive up here and see all those old vehicles, you actually want to drive right past, but once you are parked, it's not so bad; we had an unobstructed view of the valley. The price of €9 with electricity is a bargain; we took a beautiful walk and then had a delicious meal in the restaurant. (The asparagus with ham is highly recommended.)

This turned out to be a unique location for us. After a three-day stay at this beautiful campervan site, we still didn't want to leave. It's an oasis for those interested in vintage cars, tractors, and all sorts of oddities. It's a mix of a museum and a scrap metal store. It even has its own restaurant, "Kreiterhof," where you can enjoy a delicious and affordable dinner made with regional products!

Super fun, unique place where you can eat delicious food at restaurant with friendly staff for a very reasonable price. Buy a nice bottle of wine for a few euros, worth it. Toilet available, no shower facilities.
