It's great that such places exist so close to the historic city center, just a 5-minute walk away. No amenities, but you're prepared for that and know in advance. The ramps available here were a novelty; I'd never seen them before. A desk provides information about the surrounding area. A place to definitely visit again!

Very uneven spots, and in the rain, the terrain is slippery and boggy. When driving up the blocks, the wheels spin a bit. The owner walked up and immediately started calling me inexperienced, in a very rude manner. In my 40+ years of experience, I've driven all sorts of vehicles. He also told me that the Dutch always break everything. We'll never come back here again!

It's clear what you're getting: no amenities, but a spot barely 1.5 km from the heart of a beautiful city. And all for a very reasonable price. The nature of the site (limited pitches with varying levels) creates an atmosphere where people help and communicate with each other. And that's precisely the appeal of camping!
