Campingplatz Straubing

40 euros per night without electricity in the off-season is reasonable considering the location near Straubing, but whether it's necessary is up to the operator. For us, this price only appealed because we wanted to see Straubing. After our visit from afternoon to evening, 40 euros seemed excessive. So, once again, it was just a place we'd categorize as a "stopover." The pitches were

Great campsite with spacious green areas and lots of birds for 40 euros per night for 2 people. Tiptop sanitary facilities with spacious showers, neat waste separation and WiFi. Also a washing machine (3.50 euros, takes 2.5 hours) and a dryer. To fill up water we missed the right connection. As an extra: a beer garden and Vietnamese restaurant where you can eat deliciously. And: we even saw fireflies around 22:30! Reception closes around 18:00.
