In Waldsassen you can choose this free place or against payment at Schwanenwiese. We chose the free place and are super satisfied. A quiet place (a few youngsters in the evening, but no trouble at all) and within walking distance of the basilica. Right behind it is the Schwanenwiese and a park with playground.

At bus station. In the park, in the city park 'the Schwanenwiese' near the basilica are beautiful places with electricity. 5 euros per night, 2 euros for 10 hours of electricity.
