The whole thing gives a messy impression. The adjacent open-air pool is being renovated in '24 and '25 and the Marienburg castle is also closed for renovation.

With the fixed picnic bench there, it feels a little less like a parking space. Incredible amount of parking spaces. So even though there are 2 camper spots. There's plenty of room. We went here from Hanover and had a quiet night. Next day to the lock. There is also enough parking space, but no possibility to stay overnight. It is possible to get a key for the toilets at the swimming pool
