Bergsee Camp

Nice campsite, beautiful spot next to a lake where you can swim, with a mini beach. People from the neighbourhood also use it. You can hear it, but in the evening it becomes wonderfully quiet. Friendly atmosphere and super nice owners. Sanitary facilities are adequate, but basic. We were in a beautiful spot with lots of shade. Plenty of walking opportunities. Work is being done to modernise the campsite. We enjoyed it!

Beautifully situated campsite, wonderfully quiet next to the Bergsee; a small lake where you can swim (dogs are also allowed to swim there), walk around and meet the kingfisher. The campsite has spacious pitches, the sanitary facilities are outdated but neat. Very friendly reception, campsite is still under development, for example, they are still working on a bar inside. We stayed here for two nights. Lovely place!

Enthused by the description, we thought we would support this new initiative. Arrived after a beautiful but long bumps and potholes road. Unfortunately it looked quite run-down, seemed to us as if everything was from the 1940s. Had a look at the terrain but did not get the impression that a camper would fit on it. We drove on after this disappointment, because "nature camping on a mountain lake" sounds enticing and idyllic
