This (once) free spot is currently being converted into an expensive one. €24 per night and €1 for a dog! Why? This campervan site is becoming far too expensive for the quality they're going to provide. You'll get a lot of noise from motorcycles using the hairpin bends around the corner as a racetrack every sunny weekend. The walk in the immediate area has become depressing. Half the mountain has been excavated for raw materials. Goodbye Lienen.

Currently, there's a major renovation underway. The number of pitches is being expanded to over 20 campervans, and a permanent service area and restroom facilities are also being added. I've been here many times and wonder if there's a need for so many pitches. I often went here to hike and eat and drink at Malepartus, a restaurant on the mountain. I'm curious, though, how much it will cost per night.

Important notice. The site is being developed into a "proper" RV park with infrastructure. Work has already begun, and the area is cordoned off. The existing areas are therefore no longer available.
