Parkplatz Diemelsee

Just a good and free place to stay overnight. No facilities. Along the road but there is hardly any traffic. Will be different in summer. You can make beautiful walks through the forest and/or along the lake.

great free spot with a public toilet at 150m. nice and quiet at 50m walk from the lake where you can swim well. no further facilities, but therefore of course free!

we looked beautiful! you can walk around the lake or in the forest. That night there was a terrible thunderstorm and a tree fell on the camper next to us. the next morning a local resident said that the forest is not maintained and has been warning about this for some time. parking for the adjacent beach is paid so I don't think this place will remain free for long.
