The campervan site is situated in a wonderfully quiet area with plenty of cycling opportunities. Pure enjoyment. The owners are, as is well known, extremely friendly. We enjoyed our stay. The town of Ochtrup is a bit boring, except for the shopping center. The nearby moated castle is certainly worth a visit. It is strange, though, that you pay €15 for an overnight stay via Camper Contact and €12 at the site itself. A larger trash can would be welcome 😉.

Beautiful spot, friendly welcome from Manfred the camp warden. We get to choose a spot, it doesn't matter who does what or where you pitch your tent. Even though there is no toilet, I think it is worth 5 stars. There are more options than the website states. 🥰 It is a short 15-minute bike ride to the nearest village with all the shops and restaurants.
