Camping Altes Forsthaus

Contrary to other reviews, we were lucky enough to be able to pitch on the grassy field just behind the playground. Very quiet and plenty of space. Friendly welcome, a bit dated sanitary facilities, but everything clean and functional. A nice play area for the kids. A good base for visiting Cochem and the zoo.

A reasonable campsite, with many permanent pitches but a few campervan pitches. We had three campervans and one tent, and it was already quite cramped. The toilets and showers were clean and sufficient. The showers were coin-operated, but nice and hot and had a good jet. There was a small pool and a bar at the front. When we were there, there was a football match, and it was a bit noisy, but it calmed down quickly. We paid €21.10, including electricity and dishwashing tokens (shower included). Electricity is calculated based on your usage.

Simple campsite in a quiet location just steps from the Moselle bustle. Dated but apparently clean sanitary. Small field with room for 4 to 5 campers and the level blocks can be taken out of the garage again.
