Wohnmobilpark im Saarland Thermen

The camper site is excellent, with large, paved pitches. Electricity costs 1 euro per kWh. Water costs 1 cent per liter, payable at the vending machine with various coins: so 50 cents for 50 liters. Very clean toilet with an access code. No shower. Had a peaceful overnight stay. From the camper site, we walked straight into the woods with our dog. Restaurant Sheune at the Erlebnispark, right next to the CP, is highly recommended.

Beautiful, quiet CP. Black and gray water discharge and water are available in 10-liter increments (10 cents). A very nice bike ride to Saarbrücken along the Saar: return to Rilchingen-Hanweiler and follow the green signs on the narrow bike path just after the viaduct. A bit tricky with the stairs, but then you can cycle 18 km (car-free) along the Saar.

The thermal baths are good, but not great. Cycling to Saarbrücken along the highway wasn't pleasant at all; so I turned around. The restaurant is adequate, but that's about it. It's close by (at most 1 km), and there's a Netto for sandwiches, etc. After half a day, I'd had enough.
